Latest News
- The Benchmark Study project has completed analysis of the 59 survey responses received and is actively meeting with focus groups. Final project deliverables will be drafted during September.
- The Student Data Readiness project has completed all deliverables for UMBC and the technical data discovery sessions with Bowie State University.
Purpose
USM is currently growing the use of collaborative services in many areas where we are considering broad opportunities, not just administration and technology. Our approach is to produce better service and outcomes, balanced with the unique needs of each institution.

Annual Assessments
An annual assessment of each collaborative service and the USM collaborative service organization will be developed each year beginning in 2026. Assessments will be published to this area and will include accomplishments, course corrections, lessons learned, metrics/KPIs, milestones, and future year plans.

Active Projects
- eLearning Tool: MEEC RFP under development and final draft of business case to be completed in September.
- Compensation Administration Tool: Business case updated based on SHRC input and will be presented to VPAFs in September.
- Student Data Readiness: Frostburg data discovery sessions scheduled in September, followed by UMES in October. Project on schedule to complete in January 2027.
